In these times of energy crisis, one model has proven that it can provide both price stability and sustainable local anchoring of renewable electricity production. This model is called REScoop: Renewable Energy Sources Cooperatives.

This model is now ready to be rolled out to offshore wind turbines. This thanks to SeaCoop, the new Belgian cooperative social enterprise founded by 33 citizen cooperatives for renewable energy in Flanders and Wallonia.

SeaCoop is ready to help the Belgian government realise the desired citizen participation in offshore wind energy, while at the same time meeting the European objectives with regard to renewable energy communities.

The official launch of SeaCoop cvso will take place in the presence of Federal Minister of Energy, Tinne Van der Straeten, and Walloon Minister of Energy and Climate, Philippe Henry.
